Advantages over analogues:
Usually resistance to space environment factors is determined by the influence of one or two factors. In this case an effect of synergism is not taken into account. In Ukraine a unique installation has been developed - CSSF - that allows testing of materials under simultaneous influence of protons, electrons, ultraviolet, Sun's light radiation, vacuum and cyclic change of temperature. With the use of this installation materials testing allows reliable estimation of their pritective properties and development of materials with special properties and optimal mass characteristics.

Description of the development:
() A new technology has been introduced for development of materials and structures with special properties for a longterm operation in orbit as well as for modification of exsting materials by unique properties providing resistance to the space environment factors, such as radiation, vacuum ultraviolet, electromagnetic radiation, thermal cycles and atomic oxygen. Special unique equipment is available which allows to ascertain the materials resistance on the ground.
