Purpose of the development: Siopor - new heat- and sound-insulating material of low-temperature swelling.

Recommended application field: Siopor used as a filler in the manufacture of thermal and acoustic insulation blocks and slabs as insulation of the filling.

Advantages over analogues: Siopora production technology is characterized by the lowest fuel consumption per unit of production in comparison with other artificial porous materials.

Siopor obtained by swelling crushed siolita - the reaction product of natural raw materials (tripoli, flask and other materials that contain amorphous silica) with caustic soda. Process siopora production line consists of a fluidized bed apparatus for drying and porization siolita, cooling and classification of the final product. Capacity production line - 50 cubic meters / hour. The technology is implemented in two industries. Bulk weight siopora - 80-160 kg / cubic meter, thermal conductivity - 0.04-0.07 W / m * K. The cost of equipment ~ 4 mln. UAH. Payback period - 2.5 years.
