Purpose of the development: THERMORADIATIVE technology upgrading jewelry minerals (TYuM) is a set of operations irradiation jewelry minerals ionizing radiation (gamma rays, fast electrons, X-rays) at certain temperatures or with subsequent heat treatment, which lead to sustainable change in the color of the mineral, increases its use value as a material for jewelry.

Advantages over analogues: For example, diamond is a natural emerald green color (very rare) costs approximately $ 6,000 per carat. Brilliant brown tint (the cheapest) - an average of $ 600 per carat. Special radiation-thermal processing of brown diamonds allows you to change the color of the emerald green. By varying the conditions of irradiation fails to ensure that the stone has acquired green, blue, gold, canary (yellow) and brandy (champagne) color.
