Technical characteristic: Density, g/сc : 1.4-1.8. Ultimate strength at 20 °С, MPa: - ultimate compression strength : 150-400; - ultimate bending strength : 100-160; - ultimate tensile strength : 50-120. Heat conductivity, W/m degrees: - at 20 °С : 5-7; - at 500 °С : 7-11; - at 1000 °С : 10-15. CLTE, degrees-1: - 20-1000 °С : 3-4; - 20-1500 °С : 3.5 - 4.5.

Advantages over analogues: High mechanical strength; resistance to mechanical and thermal chocks; chemical and radiation resistance; long service life; low weight of product; thermochemical stability.

The carbon-carbonic composite material is produced as a result of binding carbon fibers with carbon in the methane medium (СН4) under conditions of heating up to the temperature of above 1000 °С. The material representing graphite or carbon matrix reinforced with carbon fibers possesses the properties of high mechanical strength, resistance to mechanical and thermal shocks, chemical and radiation resistance.
