LIGHTFASTNESS BIOCIDAL PREPARATIONS FOR LONG DECONTAMINATION OF SURGICAL DRESSINGS AND CLOTHING


Purpose of the development: Developed soluble light- and heat-resistant broad spectrum biocidal preparations antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal action based on the polymer / inorganic composites for the treatment and prolonged disinfection of various dressings (bandages, gauze wipes, patches, etc.), surgical sutures, and as underwear and clothing to prevent reproduction of pathogenic microflora transit in long-term absence of hygienic conditions.

Advantages over analogues: The formulations exhibit a high thermal stability (up to 180 ° C in the solid state) and a high bactericidal activity against 650 bacteria, fungi and viruses. Aqueous solutions of drugs retain antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal effect of low concentrations (~ 6 ? 10 -6 degree in mg / l).

The preparations consist of a biocompatible and are toxic to human cell components containing polymer and inorganic nanoparticles are spherical morphology up to 9 nm and were stable over time and resistant to sunlight for at least 1 year. Biocidal polymer / mineral preparations are characterized by high adhesion to the dressings and tissues of different nature. As applied to the surface of the tissues, they form a thin layer of bactericidal, which loses water solubility (but swells in water) at a particular thermal treatment. Due to the low viscosity of aqueous solutions designed polymer / inorganic biocidal agents may be used as a spray for antimicrobial treatment of laundry, clothing, military camouflage, etc.
