Purpose of the development: The purpose of development is to create effective technologies of detection of objects of different nature using terahertz the 3-D radar.

Recommended application field: The developed technologies can be applied in a variety of subject areas, including: geological, biological research, in the course of military operations in a case where you need to pass mined areas, to clean the mine site after the military operations, and to prevent terrorist operations with the use of explosive devices .

Advantages over analogues: The desired object may be large areas, their locations are not always available. In this case it is proposed to place the radar, such as unmanned aerial vehicles. In this multiprocessor signals are processed in real time.

3D terahertz radar consists of an antenna, a transceiver unit, control systems, data acquisition systems, data processing and visualization system. It allows you to generate and receive the signal complex structure. The signals generated and received by the device at high frequencies. The desired objects can be made of various materials (metal, ceramic, plastic) and have different structures. Upon reflection from the surface of the signal changes depending on the material. The idea is to develop, with the help of special mathematical processing techniques to detect changes of the signal characteristic for these substances, devices or objects. Methods of processing and recognition of information will be based on the original ideas of the authors for the development of the theory of structural-parametric optimization, drive pseudoinverse and projection operators and adaptive approximation of the experimental data. It is expected that the technical implementation of the technology will have a convenient form of the functions of the intellectual system. If necessary, the radar can be placed, for example, unmanned aerial vehicles. In this case it is possible to detect objects rapidly in real time. It should be noted that the form of the implementation of technology must include an adaptive correction algorithms to detect them.
