Purpose of the development: It is proposed to develop mobile microlaboratory - Express-analysis system of toxic and noxious substances in air and water-based mobile devices such as the "electronic nose" and "electronic tongue".

Description of the development:

The system is partially developed and tested for some toxic substances - methane, carbon monoxide and others. The system will be based on the use of low-cost smartphones on the operating system ANDROID, for which we developed the software on the operating system ANDROID. This allows the use of the system in the field, when there is no access to stationary laboratories, for example, to monitor drinking water in wells, pump room, rivers, lakes. Also express the system can detect toxic substances in the air on the street, in buildings, basements, and the like. To create rapid systems are developed array of semiconductor gas sensors compatible with silicon CMOS technology for the detection of toxic and noxious substances (heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, volatile organic compounds, heavy hydrocarbons, and others) using modern nanomaterials (nanokremny, silicon carbide, titanium oxide) and nanotechnology. There are algorithms for the analysis of signal processing to create a matrix of sensors (principal components method and the method of neural networks). The system provides the ability to extend the functionality through adherence to the developed device sensors for new substances.
