EFFECTIVE PROTECTION AGAINST INTERFERENCE IN A RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


Purpose of the development: The methods of error-correcting coding that is used to protect channels from interference and eavesdropping and from natural and created enemy interference.

Recommended application field: Radio communications..

Advantages over analogues: The developed methods of error-correcting coding much more efficient convolutional codes, but are not more complicated in terms of the possible practical implementation. They have the following advantages: - A significant increase in the efficiency of known and widely used in practice convolutional codes. In particular, the probability of bit errors in the received message 10 to -4 degrees in the application of our code is achieved with the noise level in the channel is 0.7 dB higher than in case of using the code NASA, which is a standard for mobile communication GSM and many other systems. - Minor additional time spent on coding and decoding. So, in order to achieve the benefits of NASA's code 0.7 dB temporal decoding complexity should be increased only less than 2% on average. Coding is always carried out with little or no additional time-consuming. - No problems with pravosobstvennostyu. To use our developed methods and algorithms do not need to acquire any patents and licenses, they are the only authoring, which do not apply the invention, patented by foreign owners.

The essence of the design is that the information message at the input link is brought redundant information that allows the message to recover the output channel, even if it has been distorted by the transmission of the superimposition of noise. Converting an incoming message called encoding and inverse transformation - decoding. One of the most common radio systems are so-called convolutional codes, which became popular in the first place because of the ease of implementation. Their effectiveness, however, can be significantly improved. An example of a more efficient code is developed over the last two decades, turbo codes and LDPC codes, which, however, is much more difficult to implement.
