TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE MATERIALS THAT ARE BASED ON NANOTECHNOLOGIES

Purpose of the development: The methods of in situ synthesis of silver and gold nanoparticles, including "green" synthesis, in aqueous branched polymer matrices dextran Polyarylamide that have controlled molecular structure.

Recommended application field: Zoli silver and gold can be used for the preparation of dosage forms, as well as for dressings with high antibacterial activity, which are essential for emergency assistance during the war, for the treatment of catheters, medical instruments and the like.

Advantages over analogues: We have shown that branched polymers dextran-polyacrylamide much more efficient in the process of water purification than linear flocculants, which are now used.

The development stage readiness: tested in laboratory condition

Description of the development:
()
A significant place among the objects of nanochemistry take ultra chemically resistant metals - gold and silver, which have unique optical, photophysical, catalytic and biochemical properties. Use it branched matrix provides a sol which is stable for 2 years (duration of the experiment), and to vary the size and shape of the nanoparticles. In extreme conditions, there is often a situation where there is no access to clean drinking water. The water in rivers and lakes comprises various organic and inorganic contaminants, especially heavy metals, as well as pathogens. Most of the microorganisms by boiling water is dying, but the salts of heavy metals, which are highly toxic, remain. Biological Tests in cell cultures of murine macrophages J774 showed that dextran poliakridamid polymers are non-toxic and can be used not only as carriers of drug substances in living organisms, but also as agents for water purification.
