Purpose of the development: Aspiration column KAO is intended for cleaning the grain from impurities, differ by aerodynamic properties. It is applied at barn floors, elevators, mills, groat-shops and feed mills.

Working principle: Parent grain enters the receiving chamber, and then to shaking chute that aligns the grain layer over the entire length of the channel pneumatic separating channel. A movable wall in the lower part of the column is set so that the grain layer down from the shaking chute can be almost horizontal, which contributes to the optimum conditions of pneumatic separation. Light impurities are rising up along through the channel with the air entering the suction system and the cleaned grain is output through the outlet.
