Analysis of architecture Volyn Orthodox churches, which have appeared as a result of staying Right-Bank Ukraine in the Russian Empire, is controversial, given by previous researchers. So now there is a problem determining the historical and architectural value of the cultural heritage of XIX - early XX century. To do this, a detailed examination of its architectural features, deeply understand the historical processes of the period and the opposite effect on the development of religious art in the territorial framework of the study. Without this it is impossible to create a comprehensive picture of the overall appearance of an alien culture on the territory of Volyn. Impartial analysis and evaluation of the Volyn wooden church architecture of XIX - early XX century. from the perspective of modern positions will help to overcome old stereotypes and cliches of previous researchers, as the totality of all these facilities reflect the complexities and contradictions of the era in which they appeared. In the course of research complex methodology was used full-scale surveys of objects (photographic images, drawings, architectural measurements) and office work (analysis of sources and literature relating to the theme, performance measuring drawings, studying maps). There have also been used such traditional scientific methods, such as the systematization of previous studies, comparative and figurative compositional analysis, deduction and other methods.
