ENERGY EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY FOR VARIABLE SPEED ROTATION OF HYDRAULIC UNITS IN THE SMALL HYDROPOWER PLANTS

Increasing the efficiency of turbines and propeller axial-radial type.

Small hydro up to 10 MW, operating in parallel mode with the electrical system
Technical characteristic:
The range of flow measurement - the nominal value of 0.2-1.0;
range of the water pressure - the nominal value of 0.5-1.0;
range of the speed - nominal value of 0.5-1.0
Advantages over analogues:
The technology of the variable speed hydraulic units of small hydropower plants allows an increase of 20-30% efficiency turbine propeller and radial-axial type for arbitrary flow and pressure of water.

Description of the development:
() Using a discrete variable speed hydraulic turbines is realized through the use of asynchronous generators with a scale synchronous rpm b = 1,0 / 0,75 / 0,5 of the nominal value.
Energy efficiency is achieved by matching the speed of the turbine rotor in accordance with the changing values ??of the flow and pressure of water.
