Ukrainian factory has developed elektrotraktor Edison, an electric motor and equipped with a Japanese lithium-ion batteries, the use of which significantly increases both the work of the tractor without recharging, and the battery life. The developed model will be the first Ukrainian serial elektrotraktorom. The machine is able to work without then charged from 4 to 8 hours. Transmission - mechanical, reversible - with 8 forward gears and 6 th rear. Drive - rear-wheel drive. The pulling force of 1 kN (1000 kgf). The tractor can transport trailers weighing up to 2 tons at a speed of 40 km / h. As an option, set PTO - with a speed of 1 to 2840. Elektrotraktor has small dimensions: length - 3500 mm, width - 1,420 mm and height - 2490 mm. Clearance - 278 mm. Operating weight is 2250 kg. Separate drive on the brakes makes it possible to slow down one of the driving wheels to reduce the turning radius, which is only 3.5 m. The basic cost model is expected to be $ 15,000.
