Purpose of the development: Wind power installations "Rotor Onipko" a new type of small and medium wind speeds produces electricity at low wind speeds of 0.5 m / s.

Recommended application field: Production of electricity in rural areas, small enterprises, cottages.

Technical characteristic: - works in a wide range of wind speed 0.3-20 m / s; - adapted to a drastic change of speed and direction of wind flow; - low noise; - high rate of conversion of wind energy; - a wide range of capacities from 50 to 10,000 watts; - does not require high mast; - working surface of a new type of turbine is much greater than the effective area of a classic blade turbine of the same diameter; - in contrast to conventional wind turbines, are used; the effect of wing lift, additionally uses the energy of wind pressure; - turbine can be made of metal, glass fiber reinforced (composite) or plastic; - this new type does not create noise and can be installed near the location of the person or residence.

Advantages over analogues: - operates at low wind speeds; - the cost of production and operation is much lower than the world analogues; - light weight and attractive modern design; - autonomy; - easy to install; - ecological safety; - safety in ornithological terms.

WPU "Rotor Onipko" well suited to the Ukrainian wind energy - namely the slow winds. A typical wind turbine is required air flow rate of at least 5 m / s, which in our country is quite rare. "Rotor Onipko" begins to produce electricity even when the wind of 0.5 m / s. The secret to high performance development - it uses 90% of wind energy, whereas conventional wind turbines use about 40%. Potential customers: the owners of cottages and villas, rural residents, small businesses, the objects removed from the mains. Installation was all stages of testing. Now there is the production of industrial design. The estimated cost of the unit, depending on the capacity of 2-6 thousand dollars. In the introduction you need 6-8 months.
