TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENT FOR MANUFACTURING OF THE TOUGHENED GLASS
Purpose of the development:
Ukrainian Institute developed its own special combination of technology, designed to strengthen and improve glass resistance to static and dynamic loads
Recommended application field:
Architectural and construction industry (banks, framing balconies, windows, conservatories closing) vehicles.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed technology allows to increase the strength of glass by 10-15 times.

Description of the development:
() Glass is a very popular material and is used in various fields. However, it has a significant drawback - the fragility, so scientists are constantly looking for ways to strengthen and improve the resistance to static and dynamic loads. In order to strengthen the glass machining, cutting, grinding, polishing, tempering with different levels of ion exchange stress, deep etching, etc. The developers founded their own innovative project for the production of reinforced safety glass (high-impedance dynamic load) - for the protection of bank buildings, special facilities, vehicles, as well as armored vehicles and bunkers.
High-strength tempered flat glass, manufactured by cold bending technology ( "cold-bent glass"), has a large (up to 4m) sheet length, better quality, greater variety of geometries and smaller economic costs on.
