Purpose of the development: Robotic micromanipulator used nowadays both in cell and biotechnology in the production of integrated circuits.

Nanomanipulators PSF-3 IVF - a 3-axis system that combines a high separation capacity chrezvichayno (0.4 nm), many hours of thermal stability (<= 2 nm / h at 20grad.S) and a large range of motion (10 mm ). The development is made on the basis of piezoelectric motor is rotating motion of his own design, conjugation with feedback sensors and control system with digital signal processor (DSP) software which allows you to perform 46 operations programmed with different types of micromanipulation in space. When the piezoelectric motor is off, it provides automatic "lock" movement with virtually no drift and "dead" way. Nanomanipulators PSF-3 IVF works on the principle of transformation of the rotating movement of the piezoelectric motor to linear movement of the carriage. The combination of high torque and high speed of the variable angle capability allows the separation step or continuous operation of the system. The engine may change from step to 5 mrad ceaselessly movement range of the angular velocity of 5 mrad / sec to about 60 / min. Such characteristics provide a linear separation capacity of 0.4 nm and a linear velocity range from 0.4 nm / sec to 500 m / sec.
