Purpose of the development: Whiteness is designed for rapid evaluation of the grade of flour for white in accordance with GOST 26361 and process control in the maquila industry, as well as the input control on the quality of flour baking enterprises.

Recommended application field: Bakery products and milling enterprises.

Advantages over analogues: - it eliminates the need for lengthy tests to determine the ash content; - it allows you to quickly assess the impact of changes in party grinding grain or technological regimes on the quality of the flour; - bakeries, using the device are able to objectively determine the proportions of mixtures of different batches of flour and predict white bread crumb; - factory setting corresponds to an average brightness index values ??of the device RZ-BPL-C with an accuracy of ± 1 unit, however, for the convenience of the user is provided an opportunity to amend (permissible variation RE BPL values ± 4 units).

The operating principle of the device is based on measuring the reflectance spectrum of visible rays in a predetermined wavelength range from the surface of densely-smoothed or flour dough and standards in defining whiteness index. Microprocessor unit system flare-P3 provides the measurement process, the processing of the measurement results and control the device performance and output of the measurement results on a digital display and a personal computer to create a database. The results are sent to the IBM computer - PC via RS 232 interface C.
