The device consists of a rod and handle with lid closed from the end of a transparent red filter. The lower end of the rod is a temperature sensor. Under the cover of the handle located electronic unit with a three-digit numeric display and the battery compartment with batteries. It is the "Measure" button at the bottom of the handle. The electronic unit converts the signal from the temperature sensor and displays it on the digital display value.
