TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

DIELECTRIC ANTENNA

Purpose of the development: A dielectric antenna for the allocation of tumors with the possibility of changing the radiation pattern and the operating frequency band. The invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular to dielectric antennas, and can be used as an antenna for microwave bioradiolocation and microwave antenna allocation method tumors in soft tissues.

Recommended application field: Developed by the dielectric antenna can be implemented in medical diagnostic facilities, as well as in the educational process.

Advantages over analogues: The advantages of the new dielectric antenna is a wide range of operating frequencies and the possibility of changing the radiation pattern without changing the antenna design.

The development stage readiness: tested in laboratory condition

Technical and economic effect: The proposed technology allows to reduce the cost of a set of antennas for the allocation of research neoplasms.

Description of the development:
()
The basis of the invention is to improve the dielectric antenna in a dielectric cylinder that is connected to the coaxial feeder by that along the side surface of the dielectric cylinder parallel to its axis fixed rectangular plate made of elastic metal, which are bent outside the insulating cylinder and form a truncated cone, wherein at the ends of the guide rectangular plates installed, which is stretched over the dielectric loop to allow radiation pattern and changes the operating band of the antenna. This object is achieved in that around the dielectric cylinder fixed rectangular plate made of elastic metal, which are bent outside the insulating cylinder at a certain angle. If you change this angle, which is adjusted by tightening the loop around the dielectric, changing the parameters of the radiating antenna-invention. As a result of this antenna invention it can be used as a versatile, in particular as an antenna for microwave bioradiolocation and microwave antenna allocation method tumors in soft tissues. Thus, the proposed antenna has the ability to change the radiation pattern and the antenna operating frequency band. A laboratory model of the dielectric antenna. Laboratory studies on the allocation of tumors of the human body model and various absorbing media were held. Further research is needed in health care facilities.
