Purpose of the development: For installation on machine tools drilling, milling group with CNC and automatic tool change and clamp with cylindrical shank.

Recommended application field: Technologies and equipment for the production of machine tools.

Technical characteristic: Rotation frequency: - with module M4 to 24,000 rev / min.; - without module M4 to 3000-3500 rev / min. Power - 3 kW. The maximum diameter of the tool shank - 18 mm. The minimum diameter of the tool shank - 0.5 mm. Installation - horizontal or vertical flange. Tool Clamp - electromechanical. Torque Tool clamp drive - 18 Nm. Cooling - water. Dimensions (diameter x length mm x mm): - with module with clutch o 100x500; - without module o 100x460.

Advantages over analogues: The main advantage of the design is to use a modular approach, reducing the cost for the repair, easy and quick changeover.

Technical and economic effect: Based on the unified motor spindle and compared to peers, while maintaining high performance, it has a lower cost.

When machining materials very important role played by each machine node, which affects its technical and economic indicators. One such machine is the spindle units (SU), which particularly high demands. The accuracy and rigidity of SU depends accuracy and productivity machining of parts. Also, a significant impact on the accuracy and processing performance has a tool clamping mechanism, and for interrupted cutting mills depends on surface quality, namely the roughness and accuracy of processing the form (parallelism, roundness, and so on). Presented motor spindle with electromechanical clamping mechanism is assembled on the basis of a modular principle based on the spindle motor. Thanks to its parameters and basic technical characteristics you can use the motor-spindle in two versions: with no unit with magnetic coupling and the module - for opening moment on the clamping mechanism.
