Purpose of the development: Cotton, modified nanoscale particles of silver and silver with copper, can be used as microbicides for disposable wound dressings, and dressings in the individual packets (IPP), and as a bactericidal reusable textiles in hospitals and clinics.

Recommended application field: Hospitals, clinics, for personal use.

Advantages over analogues: - a simple and economical way to obtain; - high antiseptic activity over a wide range of pathogenic bacteria, including antibiotic-resistant; - the material is stable to machine washing without loss of bactericidal properties.
