IMPROVEMENT OF AN ALKALINE TINNING ELECTROLYTE TO OBTAIN MICROCOMPOSITE PROTECTIVE COATINGS ON THE BASIS OF TIN ON STEEL
Purpose of the development:
Obtaining on steel products alloyed with tin coatings capable of forming a stable surface film with the ability to restore itself in mechanical damage.
Recommended application field:
Enterprises of machine-building and instrument-making.
Advantages over analogues:
Dopant which is introduced into the alkaline electrolyte tinning, non-toxic, environmentally friendly. Electrolysis was carried out at lower as compared to the baseline electrolyte temperatures. The coatings obtained by oxidation (including oxygen and air) form a stable film capable of self overgrowth by mechanical damage.
