Purpose of the development: The development of biotechnology storage pasty form a complex biological product insecticide-acaricide Baktofungin-LS and study its effectiveness against pests.

Recommended application field: The biological product can be applied in various sectors of the economy, namely: crop, forestry, greenhouses, horticulture, can also be used by the health service and in the areas of recreation for the regulation of the number of mosquitoes and flies in their breeding places. The drug can be made to government and commercial enterprises of Ukraine.

Advantages over analogues: The proposed form of pasty insecticide-acaricide complex biological product has the advantage over existing analogues that act on a much broader range of pests: butterfly larvae, beetles, flies, thrips, aphids, mites.

Protecting plants from pests - one of the most important factors to increase crop yields. Until recently, the most common chemical method was the insect control. But this method has a high efficiency disadvantages chemical insecticides mostly versatile and kill not only harmful, but also beneficial insects; pollute the environment; insects develop resistance to insecticides, which leads to an increase in the concentration and the introduction of new chemicals. In terms of man-made pollution is preferred the use of environmentally friendly biological products on the basis of microbial antagonists of insect pests. Baktofungin-LS - a biological product based on natural bacterial association B. thuringiensis and B. bassiana fungus, which is characterized by a broad spectrum insecticide, acaricide action of pest plants, mosquitoes and flies. There are several forms of microbial preparations entomopathogenic drugs. In the context of small-tonnage production available liquid and paste-like form, the use of which is limited to a short shelf life. Therefore, the search for effective means of storing drugs - one of the most promising areas in the production of bio-insecticides. This allows you to simultaneously address the issues of preserving the harvest, to improve the quality of agricultural production and protect the environment. The project proposed storage technology in paste form a complex biological product insecticide-acaricide Baktofungin-LS, which is the use of CaCl2, preservatives and stabilizers.
