TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

ACTIVE SPACE OBJECTS DRAINAGE SYSTEMS


Purpose of the development: Cleaning the near-Earth space from dangerous space debris. Building spacecraft, which include special devices designed to capture large-sized debris, and propulsion systems based on electric propulsion (EP) for moving and maneuvering in a littered space.

Recommended application field: Rocket and space industry and related areas in priority areas of science and technology "Environmental management".

Advantages over analogues: Availability of propulsion system (PS), which allows you to clean the specified altitude layers of near-Earth space, performing rendezvous and docking with the fragments of the destroyed spacecraft (DS) and other space objects (SO), should have been disqualified, and their removal to a safe orbit. The use of electric motor (EM), which reduces the required reserve of fuel control through optimal energy orbital transitions with low thrust and minimize system weight, and significantly increases the efficiency of its use in general.

Since the beginning of the space age near-Earth space, more and more filled with debris (D) of artificial origin. The growing accumulation of uncontrolled satellites, spent rocket stages, fragments of the destroyed spacecraft (DS) and other space objects (SO), which move around the Earth at high speeds, is a threat to the functioning of spacecraft. The most vulnerable in relation to space debris is a geostationary orbit (GO), where the focus spacecraft communications relay, television, early warning of missile attack. Fragments of the CM, which were formed, there may be millions of years. The orbital group of spacecraft for various purposes and are in low-Earth orbit (LEO). To prevent clogging of the near-Earth space satellites offered active drainage system and the DA to safe orbit: the dense layers of the atmosphere or disposal orbit. The idea is to design the application of electric propulsion system (electrojet propulsion systems) using propulsion rocket. Launch vehicles spacecraft active drainage system (DS) bring to the elliptical orbit, and with the help of electrojet propulsion systems - into orbit or SC meeting with the DA, should have been disqualified. After that, with the help of electric propulsion (electric propulsion) provide meeting and docking active drainage system SC (KO) and transfer to a graveyard orbit or descent into the atmosphere. Determination of the optimal schemes of spacecraft motion and minimizes weight while using the system and increases the operation of the spacecraft for its intended purpose.
