Recommended application field: In industry: - filter material for trapping organic impurities from process solutions and waste water; - filters for drinking water; - air purification system and odor absorbers; - the ventilation system and special gas purification of air in nuclear power plants; - a means of first aid in emergency situations at nuclear power plants. In medicine: - detoxification therapy for poisoning by the chemical and bacterial origin; - material wound cleans the surface; - inhibits the activity of microorganisms.

Technical characteristic: - carbon fiber of regenerated cellulose; - diameter of the monofilament - 5-7 microns.

Ukrainian Institute began to build this development a few decades ago for the military, which has used its analogs still in Afghanistan. Now scientists have decided to restore it, but with the use of modern technological base, and make it available for civilian use. Activated carbon fiber material (ACFM) an order of magnitude more effective than traditional activated carbon and foreign counterparts. He has such a strong absorbing action, it can become even his fault. For example, it can not be used on a daily basis as activated carbon, because apart from toxins ACFM absorb and useful for the body vitamins. Already made the necessary experiments and developed the production technology. The developer is looking for partners to finalize the specific quotation to the harmonization of the scope and volume of production. Implementation will take 10-12 months.
