GAS DIESEL POWER AND CONTROL GD-KPI SYSTEM


Purpose of the development: Gas diesel DG-KPI system is designed for the conversion of transport diesel engines of average power in the gas diesel engines in terms of road transport enterprises.

Recommended application field: Transport organizations.

Technical characteristic: The research and testing systems in trucks KrAZ BelAZ and confirmed the high efficiency of its use, robust construction and ease of use. In particular it established that: - average operational replacement diz fuel gas is 60 ... 70%; - saved energy parameters of gas diesel versions par base diesel with improved flow characteristics of the engine torque; - smoke gas of the diesel exhaust gas is reduced in the analogue 2 ... 3 times; - the noise level of the engine during the transition to gas diesel operation mode is reduced by 1.5 times; - a system of variable speed control speed HF gas diesel steadily works on all speed and load conditions; - diesel gas may be configured to receive more power (5 ... 10%) than the base diesel.

Advantages over analogues: - a significant reduction in the cost of road transport (20 ... 30%); - reduction of toxicity of exhaust gases of diesel engines (50%); - reducing the consumption of fuel derived from petroleum (70%).

Description of the development:

This system provides operation of diesel engines in mixtures of diesel fuel and compressed natural gas at the cycle gas to diesel fuel while maintaining the standard system and the possibility of a rapid transition to a diesel engine without a stop mode. The car, equipped with a diesel gas supply system is designed to operate under the same conditions as the basic car. The system DG-KPI applied quality control of food, that is, its power supply is controlled by varying the gas fuel, so the composition of the gas mixture varies depending on load and engine speed mode. A characteristic feature of the power system is a continuous injection of compressed natural gas to the engine intake manifold at a pressure that varies between 0 ... 100 kPa depending on the operating mode of the diesel gas. This eliminates the need for the introduction of the scheme of gas supply of the mechanical metering, as an additional unit. Such a method improves the accuracy of the gas supply and its dosage homogeneity gas mixture, and also simplifies the supply of gas after the compressor supercharged engines. The second feature of the DG-KPI system is to keep the variable speed speed control when working, both diesel and gas for diesel cycle, which is essential for heavy-duty trucks and tractors, heavy duty abrupt load changes. Payback gas diesel kit car BelAZ-75405 - 1 month, KrAZ-6510 - 4.5 months. Required investments - 400 thousand UAH.. Project implementation period - 2 years.
