TECHNOLOGY FOR MONITORING OF THE EMERGENCY SITUATION AREA USING SMALL UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES
Purpose of the development:
Remote monitoring of the disaster zone; identification of potentially dangerous objects; link in search and rescue units.
Recommended application field:
Search and rescue operations.
Advantages over analogues:
- operational planning and deployment of the UAV network in the disaster area at the time of the search and rescue operations;
- increasing the performance of the telecommunications network using UAVs to 15-20%;
- reduction of the UAV fuel costs by an average of 13-15%;
- an increase in the range of UAV remote control up to 40 km;
- the possibility of UAV equipment sensors for various purposes;
- convenient portable set of remote control system of the UAV;
- organizing video transmission in real time.

Description of the development:
() Ukrainian Institute has developed a technology for the organization of search and rescue operations involving air SAR facilities through the use of sensor networks, monitoring, alarm sensors and geographic information technologies. An improved method of laying an optimal flight path of UAV to gather information from remote sensors on the criterion of minimum distance traveled.
The need for external investment to complete the project - 300 thousand UAH. Payback period - 2 years.
