Purpose of the development: The sensor is designed to detect moving ground targets, identify the type (classification) and evaluation of their origin.

Recommended application field: Defense industry, geology and environmental protection.

Advantages over analogues: - the unique mechanical properties of silicon whiskers; - radiation resistance to irradiation by electrons with energy E <= 10 MeV; - weak dependence of sensor output signal from the magnetic field of 14 T.

As a means of detection of moving ground targets proposed to use developed on the basis of silicon whiskers compact highly sensitive seismic sensors that can detect signals from moving objects, such as personnel, armored vehicles of the enemy, as well as to determine the coordinates of the target, direction and speed. Using the product you can solve the problem of the protection of dangerous objects and the establishment of systems operating in conditions of strong electromagnetic fields. Production of sensors with the required characteristics is carried out to order.
