TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR PROTECTION OF VOLUMETRIC METAL STRUCTURES AND HEATING BOILER THERMAL POWER PLANT SURFACES
Purpose of the development:
The system is designed for the application of regenerative and protective coating on metal parts.
Recommended application field:
Protection against atmospheric corrosion of large structures, bridges, tanks, etc., as well as protection against gas-abrasive wear of the heating elements of boilers of thermal power plants.
The technology also will be used to protect against corrosion, abrasion capacities in the production of sugar, oil and gas, energy, transport and other fields of National Economy of Ukraine.
Technical characteristic:
- spraying performance (maximum), kg / h: alumina - 10.0; zinc - 30.0; cored wire - 12.0;
- working air pressure, MPa - 0.5-0.6;
- air flow rate, cubic meters. / Min - 1.5;
- the mass of the spray head, kg - 1.5;

Advantages over analogues:
Application of the developed technologies and special-gun allows you to:
- get coating with low porosity 3-5%, high corrosion and abrasion resistance;
- reduce the roughness of the aluminum and zinc coatings with Rz = 50-60 microns to Rz = 40-45 mm, which allows for 20-30% reduction in ink consumption for the subsequent paint coating;
- get wear-resistant coating of flux-cored wires, it allows to increase the service life of the heating elements in the Thermal Power Plant boiler 2-3.

Using technology to protect the heating surfaces of Thermal Power Plant boilers, allowed to increase their share in 2-2,5 times.
