Purpose of the development: Geo polymer composite - waterproofing protection system while strengthening the underground structures (tunnels, shafts, etc.). The basic technology has allowed to solve the problem of reliable chemical fixing quicksand des intergrated shaped zones of fractured saturated soils and tectonic faults.

Recommended application field: Strengthening weak and integrated soils des any degree humidity in the underground, coal mines, road construction, sewerage systems, on railways and roads; creating in them an anti seepage curtains and hardening tunnels shells.

Advantages over analogues: - ensures full waterproofing of underground structures and communications; - removes blemishes and enhances soil structure and by converting the latter in solid zone; - strengthens the shell tunnels without reducing their internal dimensions through the use of water surrounding soil; - eliminate the powerful active water leaks through the structure.

Injection technology in the construction industry is widespread in the world practice. Companies Sika, MC-Bauchem, Dow-Chemical, Desoi et al. Produce materials for solving typical problems. Ukrainian Institute offers a suite of injectable compositions on different bases (40 trains) to solve the problems of waterproofing protection with simultaneous strengthening of underground structures with minimal economic costs. Technology hardening ground arrays includes drilling, construction and injectors inject liquid formulations of adhesive properties with mineral and polymer-based for a given program, including pre-treatment of soil, filling voids, filtering through a capillary medium and the ability to micro-fracturing compositions quicksand shaped media. Technology for creating antifiltratsionnyh curtains different from the technology of hardening of soil, mainly a decrease in requirements for an adhesive ability and increased requirements and waterproof injectable formulations. Technology hardening tunnels shells based on the formation of a durable layer of geo polymer composites predetermined thickness on the outside of the shell of the tunnel, which is firmly bonded to it and creates a monolithic membrane thickened, assumes mining and hydro-static pressure. As a rule, this creates additional hydroprotection tunnel. The materials developed are competitive on the world market. In various specific situations manages to significantly reduce the cost of the work compared to typical solutions.
