Purpose of the development: The device performs all the functions of radiation control: monitoring, detection, alarm, dosimetry, radiometry, spectrometry.

Recommended application field: - radiation monitoring at the State Border (detection, localization, identification); - inspection of enterprises using IRS (measuring gamma radiation); - geological mapping and mapping of polluted areas; - measurement of the activity of radionuclides in building materials, mineral raw materials, waste production, food and other substances.

Technical characteristic: Small-sized device with a battery-powered radio channel and Bluetooth for data transfer to Pocket PC (PDA) or laptop.

Advantages over analogues: A large set of functions (monitoring, detection, alarm, dosimetry, radiometry, spectrometry), as well as the small dimensions, the possibility of remote use, removing the need to transport samples to the laboratory, allows expanded use of the instrument.

Spectrometric and dosimetric data is transmitted to the computer every second with them is passed information on temperature and battery voltage. The software performs tasks DER measurement, spectroscopy and identification of sources of ionizing radiation, measuring the activity in an open vessel geometry and Marinelli. In addition, monitoring tasks are carried out, to identify radiation anomalies, alarms, and automatically save all the data.
