RADIATION MAPPING SYSTEM "RADKAR"


Purpose of the development: The system is designed to gather information about the level of gamma radiation on the ground with automatic reference to its geographic coordinates in the automotive and pedestrian-range shooting.

Recommended application field: Mapping of contaminated areas. Pedestrian and vehicle range shooting.

All components of the system are self-powered and allow you to quickly carry out the gamma survey. Mapping software provides visibility of the work - the tracks are recorded in the form of lines, the color of which depends on the dose rate (exposure dose) in the control point. At any point of the track, you can put a "check" to the DER and callout name terms. In the process, controlled by the temperature, battery voltage, radio reception, the acceleration magnitude. All of the gamma-shooting and stored in the archive can be used at any time. The system includes: a dosimeter "PULSE-D", are constantly transmitting data via radio Bluetooth; laptop or netbook, receiving data from the control points within a radius of up to 200m; GPS-navigator; software. Equipping the system of radiation mapping "RADKAR" robot scout gives a great advantage in determining the extent of the radiation accident and its liquidation. Setting "RADKAR" system to radio-controlled mobile vehicles (land or floating) allows you to map contaminated areas, reducing the risk of personnel exposure.
