TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

RADIATION MONITORING SYSTEM "RADMON-1"

Purpose of the development: - continuous monitoring of the radiation situation; - sending radiation monitoring data to the local network servers or the Internet - radio-ecological monitoring of the environment; - early detection of radiation accidents; - at the enterprises of sphere of radioactive waste management.

Recommended application field: Non-departmental public control of radiation-ecological situation, with access via the Internet

Technical characteristic: Radiation monitoring system is sensitive to the following types of ionizing radiation: gamma-radiation, beta radiation. Sensitivity of Cs-137 (662 keV): 4 pulses / sec to 1 mSv / h. Seating capacity range of exposure dose of gamma radiation, from 1 mR / h to 10,000 mR / h. The working range of gamma radiation - from 0.05 to 3 MeV. Continuous operation time of the power supply to be connected to an AC voltage of 176 to 253 V at a frequency of (50 ± 1) Hz - around the clock. Operation mode setup time - no more than 5 minutes. Dimensions of remote detection and processing unit - not more 135x115x60. Weight (max): the remote processing unit and detection - 350 g; power supply - 200 gr. Power system of radiation monitoring is carried out by AC voltage from 176 to 253 V at a frequency of (50 ± 1) Hz. Power consumption 220 V - 5 W or less; Permissible operating conditions for remote detection and processing unit: - ambient temperature from - 30 to + 50 ° C. Operating conditions for the rest of the equipment: - ambient temperature between + 5 ° C to + 40 ° C. - relative humidity up to 90% (non-condensing)/ Radiation monitoring system in the transport packaging (packaging) withstands ambient temperatures from - 50 ° C to + 50 ° C and relative humidity (95 3)% at + 35 ° C according to GOST 12997. Ingress protection of remote detection and processing unit - IP56. Appointed time radiation monitoring service - 6 years.

Advantages over analogues: The use of Internet technologies for access to radiation and environmental information for all network users on the basis of cost, simple-to-use detector of gamma and beta radiation with an automatic transfer of data to the database on the server.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Description of the development:
()
Functionally radiation monitoring system "RADMON-1" consists of a remote detection unit, microprocessor-based data processing unit and power supply. - a remote detector (scintillator or Geiger-Mueller) converts the gamma rays into an electrical signal which is fed to a microprocessor data processing unit; - a data processing unit carries out the processing of the measurement results, and sends data to a server on the Internet; - data about the radiation background displayed on an interactive world map. When you click on a marker to current indications DER below the map will show a graph of historical data; - view the data on the website are all those who have access to the Internet.
