Catalytic converter for a comprehensive treatment of exhaust gases of vehicles running on unleaded petrol variants of CO, NOx, CxHy.

Material: synthetic cordierite.
Unit dimensions, mm - d = 95-100, h = 100-200.
Channel number, mm - 49.
Сhannel dimensions - 1x1.
The thickness of the bridge, mm - 0.2.
2. The catalytic converter:
The onset temperature for the reaction converting CO, NOx, CxHy, C * - 400.

Description of the development:
() Converter is a ceramic block made of synthetic cordierite honeycomb structure of cylindrical or elliptical shape with a volume of 1 liter. On the inner surface of a thin layer of the channel secondary alumina carrier increases ten times (up to 15-16 m2 / g) surface area and ternary platinum-ruthenium-palladium catalyst. The content of active platinum group metal component averaging 3.5 grams per kilogram of the ceramic carrier. A complex catalyst with platinum replacing part of the rare earth metal oxide.
