Purpose of the development: Ukrainian University has developed two designs of solar thermal collectors for hot water and air heating of buildings.

Recommended application field: Hot water systems, air heating systems, mixed systems "wall insulation / roof - power".

Advantages over analogues: Advantages of the proposed development to the foreign and domestic counterparts are: - widely available in Ukraine raw materials for the manufacture of collectors; - in the absence of the need to use high-tech equipment in their manufacture; - to ensure sufficient efficiency that can significantly improve the quality / price ratio.

The development stage readiness: Pre-production model is made

Technical and economic effect: The proposed TSC have a low cost ($ 70 / sq ft). collectors design consists of common materials, their production can be realized about the use of seats, which will significantly reduce transport costs and the final price.

The proposed design provides up to 17 liters of hot water (50 ° C) and up to 46 cubic meters (36 ° C) warm air for heating a TSK 1 square meter per hour. Low specific gravity of air collector (15.5 kg / m) enables the use of a lightweight support system, as well as the use of collectors in a mixed system "wall insulation / roof - energy supply", where they are at the same time act as insulation and coolant heater.
