Purpose of the development: The development is designed to produce clean and renewable energy wind power plants of low and medium power, especially wind turbines, which are operated under the conditions of wind conditions with rapidly changing - impetuous character.

Recommended application field: The greatest use of the proposed device can be obtained directly at the location of the consumer low and medium power low-speed mechanical movement in areas remote from other sources of energy, primarily in rural areas.

Advantages over analogues: - AVAC has a very simple structure. From the mechanical components it includes only the bearing assembly. It can be manufactured and assembled without the use of sophisticated equipment and the available components, which are widely available in different enterprises; - at AVAC combined properties of the two types of VD: Vertical and rotary (blade). Construction AVAC light and delicate through sailing rigging, so it is easy to install and operate in the field; - AVAC low-speed, but has a high drive torque, and can be used without the use of reduction devices primarily to perform mechanical work. Torque at AVAC determined with the advent of a light wind. To enter into force the known vane HP, even in strong winds, use starter drives. AVAC is not afraid squally gale-force winds.

Ukrainian university has designed and built a wind turbine, which used low-speed HP design with a vertical axis of rotation of the propeller, which operate without a attitude control systems to the wind and working bodies in the form of flexible sails of technical fabrics (AVAC). The device may be used: - to directly drive water-lifting devices (screw Archimedes pump, a pump), in particular, drained or irrigated lands; - for storing compressed air and provide them with various kinds of pneumatic devices, including pnevmaturbin to drive an electric current generator; - for the direct transformation, avoiding electricity, mechanical energy into heat and heating, greenhouses, buildings for livestock, poultry, etc;. - motion for advertising panels, boats (yachts with HP and propeller), etc. Usually advertising drive hidden from the view of observers, the work of the same sailing vetroprivoda will be attractive to the human eye; - AVAC may be applied as a mechanical drive the generator to produce electricity. Given the slow speed AVAC, use boosters mechanical movement - multiplicators. The authors of the project have a simple multiplier principle of rotation, organically linked with the construction of AVAC.
