CYCLONE-ROTARY DUST COLLECTOR


Purpose of the development: Ukrainian University has developed a new dust collection device for collecting fine dust by improving separation processes swirling dust streams that will significantly improve the environmental safety of the environment.

Recommended application field: It can be used on any of the enterprises, which releases dust is present.

Advantages over analogues: The use of eddy current dust collecting apparatus becomes ineffective at capturing fine (d <10 microns) and sticky dust, as well as the lack of a head of the purified gas. CRP does not have these disadvantages and it effectively implemented: - capturing fine dust particles ranging in size from 4 mm; - processes of absorption cleaning of ventilation emissions of harmful gases; - technological processes of interaction between the gas and liquid; - wet capture fine dust and aerosols; - cooling, humidification (drying) of gases; - CRP can be used in various enterprises as absorbers, precipitators, effectively trap particulate matter, aerosols and trace gases.

The development stage readiness: Introduced in production

Technical and economic effect: The process of collecting dust in its requires significantly less power consumption (2-2.5) in comparison with electrostatic precipitators to achieve the same efficiency of dust collection. The degree of cleaning machine from dust in the wet mode is 98-99%.

Description of the development:

Rotary-cyclone dust collector (PCR) is a two-stage apparatus, which uses the principle of inhomogeneous distribution of dust-gas systems in the area of the centrifugal forces. First, in the first part, which acts on the principle of the cyclone and then in the second, operating on the principle of the rotary scrubber. In the cyclone-rotary dust collector used a closed loop feedback, which increases the efficiency of wet and dry dedusting. PCR acting as blower creates a negative pressure in the suction pressure and the discharge pipe, so that it can operate autonomously (without a fan), and subjected to cleaning gases having no initial overpressure. Due to the large centrifugal force acting on a particle in a rotating part of the dust collector, it effectively captures dust with a diameter less than 10 microns. With the help of a rotating rotor is achieved by fine dispersion of liquids and extremely uniform (circular) irrigation machine walls that can effectively capture fine dust and dust that sticks together.
