Purpose of the development: N-stearoylethanolamine domestic tool is effective for the prevention and treatment of influenza by blocking surface glycoproteins of influenza virus, inhibition of its activity and induction neyraminidaznoi gamma and IFN-alpha without losing its antiviral activity during a long period (5 days).

Recommended application field: Medicine (antiviral prophylaxis).

Technical characteristic: An effective and safe method for the prevention and treatment of influenza patients infected with influenza infection tipuH1N1 by applying N-stearoylethanolamine (NSE) in a dose of 10-7 to 10-9 M in the form of injectable or intranasally.

Advantages over analogues: Studies have shown that influenza activity for the NSE significantly higher than that of the well-known and widely used drug oseltamivir (commercially known as "Tamiflu"): - it does not lose its anti-viral activity for a long time (5 days); It is non-toxic; - it does not cause proliferation and mutagenic effects; - preferably is an active inducer of IFN-gamma; - does not change the mode of the mitotic.

It was determined that the NSE protects mice against lethal influenza infection (for prophylactic and therapeutic dosing) at concentrations of 10-8 and 10-9 respectively for 5 days. The interaction of the different concentrations of four units gemaglyutinuyuchimy H1N1 flu visually mark gemaglyutinuyuchoi inhibition activity. That is, NSE-HA interacts with the influenza virus receptors. Proved that NSE is nontoxic, does not cause proliferation and mutagenic effect and is active predominantly gamma inducer. NSE action is: - blocking surface glycoproteins of influenza virus; - neira minidaz suppressing viral activity; - inducing gamma and IFN-alpha.
