NANOCOMPOSITE MATERIALS AND COATINGS
Purpose of the development:
Development of physical bases of the formation of multi-layer nano-composite materials with increased, in comparison with analogues, the level of operating and functional characteristics.
Development of recommendations on the preparation and use of materials with a predetermined level of practically important characteristics.
Recommended application field:
Magnetic strips for metal compounds, screens to protect against electromagnetic radiation, filters for cleaning of oil and grease from metal particles, antistatic agents, magnetoelectrics, electrical and magnetic conductors, gas sensors, heating elements.
Technical characteristic:
Seals and gaskets on the basis of TWG:
- functionality to T = 400OC under a pressure up to 40 MPa;
- density - 1.64 g / cm3;
- not broken up to 20% relative deformation.
Nanocomposite laminates:
- hardness of sheets - (56 ... 58 ... 58) units. HRC;
- electrical resistivity = 6 ... 12 microohm cm;
- friction coefficient, r = 0.046 ... 0.057 under pressure (0.1 ... 0.6) MPa.
Advantages over analogues:
Used nanotechnology can create composite materials with the best than existing and fundamentally new qualities.
