TECHNOLOGY FOR PRODUCING OF NANOCOMPOSITE MATERIALS BASED ON EXPANDED GRAPHITE
Purpose of the development:
Development of technology for nanocomposites based on expanded graphite (TRG) to set out on the surface of nano-sized (50-100nm) particles of transition metals (Fe, Co, Ni).
Recommended application field:
- catalysts in ammonia synthesis processes dookisnennya reactions and carbon monoxide;
- magnetic switches;
- magnetic sensors;
- anode material for lithium-ion batteries;
- the material for protection against electromagnetic radiation screens;
- optical filters;
- elements of space-based communication devices.
Technical characteristic:
CCM TWG-oxide Fe-Co-Cu system (content up to 30% W):
- catalysts CO conversion to CO2 reaction (conversion temperature = 152 * C, the oxidation rate at 100% conversion at 150 ° C * (10-30) * 10 -6 mol degree / sec * h, which is much higher than the surround catalyst Cu2 (OH) 3 NO3;
NCM graphite-Co-Fe (content up to 30% W):
- reaction of ammonia synthesis catalyst the reaction starts at temperatures of 100 * C below, as well as two orders of magnitude higher conversion speed N2 and H2 a mixture of ammonia, than when using conventional catalysts.

Description of the development:
() Development of methods for CCM graphite-metal:
- chemical deposition from aqueous salt solutions, followed by thermolysis;
- recovery interkalovanogo chloride transition metal compounds that will receive the CCM, which is a metal between graphite layers in the form of metal atom-distributed, and on the surface of the graphite support in the form of nanoparticles;
- thermal spraying of metals in vacuum.
