Purpose of the development:
It intended for measuring the concentration of optically active substances and their mixtures in a wide range in the media of strongly scattering light.

- pharmaceutical manufacturing,

- environmental monitoring of industrial waste.

The range of rotation angle of the plane of polarization ± 50 * angle. deg.
Beam diameter, mm 2 - 20.
Power of light sources 0.1 mW - 10.
Operating modes: continuous, pulse.
Minimal exposure, min. not more than 0.5.
Advantages over analogues:
The proposed method of measuring the polarization state of light in the layout embodied digital polarimeter explore solutions allows the optically active compounds as single isomers and stereoisomers aggregate, and biopolymers mixtures of different molecular weight.

The proposed method for measuring the polarization state of light allows you to:
- to quickly identify the presence of solutions of optically active stereoisomers of substances of various types;
- assess the degree of chiral purity (spatial structure of molecules).

() Investigated heterogeneous mixture of optically active substances and mixtures of organic biopolymers of different molecular weight.
Development of advanced methods of drug testing products. which exist as a mixture of two, and often more spatial isomers which differ in their biological activity.
The methods are based on the high sensitivity of the optical activity of the structure of molecules:
- provides the ability to distinguish even chemically identical substances;
- it is particularly important because for most drugs a close spatial relationship between molecular structure and pharmacological activity.
