TRANSFER OF INNOVATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

CRITICAL CONDITION OF THE SUBSTANCE - BASIS OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES


Purpose of the development: The study of the behavior of equilibrium and nonequilibrium properties of spatially inhomogeneous systems in a gravitational field near the critical point.

Recommended application field: Institute of Thermal Physics.

Technical characteristic: The use of experimental methods: - scattering of light, - the passing of slow neutrons, - refractometry, - acoustic spectroscopy, - viscometry. The main element of the approach: the use of the gravitational effect of the phenomenon - the altitude distribution of various optical, thermodynamic, the correlation properties of a substance near the critical point.

Advantages over analogues: The method makes it possible to approach the critical state of matter of pressure for two to three orders closer famous traditional research methods PVT.

The development stage readiness: Tested experimental exploitation order

Technical and economic effect: Results macroinhomogeneity system properties near the critical point of the study can be applied: - to predict the behavior of small limited nanosystems; - the analysis of the results of space experiments in the vicinity of the critical point. Research may find practical use in predicting the properties of a qualitatively different objects: - magnetic materials and ferroelectrics; - binary metallic compounds in external inhomogeneous magnetic and electric fields near the Curie point, and Neelie belonging to one of the fluid systems of the universality class.

Experimental studies of spatially inhomogeneous systems near the critical point discovered range of new properties of matter under the influence of an inhomogeneous internal inhomogeneous field in a critical state of matter. Such properties are not observed in homogeneous systems, and are not provided in the modern fluctuation theory of phase transitions. Overall the fundamental problem of the causes of this field is currently not completely solved.
