TECHNOLOGY OF DRAINLESS WATER TREATMENT FOR POWER ENTERPRISES WITH PRODUCTION OF MINERAL SALTS AS RELATED PRODUCTS
Purpose of the development:
Internal-drainage water treatment for power station.
Recommended application field:
- thermal power plant and nuclear power;
- enterprises of metallurgical and chemical industries.
Advantages over analogues:
- reduced costs of acids and bases to carry out the cleaning process - 10 times;
- the absence of dumping of saline waste into the environment;
- the annual production of related products in the amount of: calcium-magnesium slurry - 700 m (building materials); sodium chloride - 600 m (70% can be obtained in the form of a jet of the product); mirabilite - 1100 m (glass production).

Cost-effectiveness of the proposed water treatment scheme in comparison with the traditional - 1.2 million euros / year.
Description of the development:
() Classical scheme of water treatment in power plants has several drawbacks: high costs of reagents; formation of a significant amount of mineralized waste water; solid waste, unsuitable for reuse; the poor quality of prepared water for most indicators. These deficiencies can overcome Ukrainian Institute proposed a unique technology-drainage water treatment. The mechanism to solve the problem: water desalination / concentration and extraction of water treatment related products; the combination of reverse osmosis and electrodeionization; the use of technology and reagent electromembrane water treatment.
Stage of the project: conducted laboratory experiments; experimental pilot plant capacity of 250 l / h in operation since 2009 in one of the production enterprises. The form of realization of the development: modernization of existing ones to order, as well as the design and construction of new water treatment plants.
