RAPID ASSESSMENT FOR THE CHARACTERISTIC VELOCITY OF NEAR-EARTH SPACE TUG MANOEUVRES


Purpose of the development: The method is intended for a variety of rapid assessments of the characteristic speed cost multi-turn maneuvers near-Earth space tugs with electric rocket engine. Also, to assess the efficiency of rocket engine electrical perspective, depending on their design parameters.

Recommended application field: In the space industry: the development and evaluation of advanced tugboats to perform interorbital transitions in near-Earth space with the use of electric thrusters.
