The problem of recycling waste tires is extremely relevant in the world. Old tires are burned, crushed mechanically, cryogenically processed or destroyed by pyrolysis. All these methods are very expensive, as a result - only 50% of tires are recycled in the world. Ukrainian University offers a technology based on a matter of the separation of rubber and metal cord by magnetic shock, followed by mechanically grinding the rubber component and the receipt of scrap metal cord. Stage design: tested method at the demonstration plant. It is necessary to automate the process of separation of rubber and cord. Form of implementation of development - introduction at the operating enterprise, the production of specialized equipment. Terms of development of technology of the automated separation of rubber and cord and manufacturing pilot sample - 12 months, the estimated cost of the pilot sample - 500 000 USD.
