Purpose of the development: The project is designed for the conservation of representative natural complexes of the Middle Dnipro. And also for: - protection of natural complexes and historical sites of Dnipro; - development of tourist and recreational infrastructure; - sustainable and unobtrusive development of regional economy. Besides: 1. Taking custody of residues of natural complexes, preserved after the flooding of the valley of the Middle Dnipro. 2. Creation of a biosphere reserve, which will be included in the international network of biosphere reserves by UNESCO.

Recommended application field: Nature conservation, tourism, sustainable development of the regional economy. The necessity of expanding the territory of the Kanev Nature Reserve. Justification transferred to the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine.

The development stage readiness: Ready for application

Technical and economic effect: Increasing the area of the Kanev Nature Reserve to 14,000 hectares.
