Purpose of the development: Ukrainian developers propose to introduce an effective waste processing complex project, providing full cycle of recycling of household waste.

Facilities of the complex will occupy an area of 1-2 hectares and can process up to 500 tons of garbage per day. Due to high efficiency (up to 70%), the plant will generate up to 2.5 megawatts of electricity per month and up to 7MVt thermal energy capacity of recycling will be up to 15,000 tons / month. The complex is based on a gas turbine elektrostrantsii, which has already been successfully finalized. sorting line and feed preparation unit are designed based on the type of raw material and fuel that is used. The complex has an integrated closed loop: 1) recycling of waste - receiving low-calorie fuel; 2) the use for the resulting fuel-air turbine drive; 3) the use of hot water for district heating supply networks; 4) the use of the exhaust gas and the gas generator for heating water. To create and run a waste recycling energy sector requires investments of $ 6-10 million USD depending on capacity and raw material type, duration of implementation -. Up to 1 year, the payback period of approximately 3 years (for the conditions of Ukraine).
