ADJUSTABLE RADIAL HYDRO-STATODYNAMIC BEARING
Purpose of the development:
The new design provides a reduction in power losses due to friction (not more than 10% of the cutting power) at high speed machining on machine tools.
Recommended application field:
Machine tools; engineering.
Advantages over analogues:
It provides increasing rapidity rotating parts of the process equipment by reducing power loss in the viscous friction and pumping of the working fluid;
It provides a loss in the range of 30% of the drive power to the main motion machine spindle speeds over 20,000 min-1;
increase energy efficiency by reducing by 30% the relative share of electricity consumption due to reduced power loss in the viscous friction when operating at high speeds.
