OPTICAL GERMANIA CRYSTAL: ELEMENTS INGOTS AND INFRARED OPTICS
Purpose of the development:
Manufacture of optical crystals of germanium blanks infrared optics elements.
Recommended application field:
Preforms for optical elements (windows, lenses, etc.).
Technical characteristic:
Calibrated rods and plates with a diameter up to 250 mm.
Blocks cuboid up to 160x160x60 mm3.
The coefficient of the optical absorption of crystals - to 0.02 cm-1.
Spectral range from 2 to 11 microns.
The optical transmittance is not less than 46.5% at room temperature.
The thickness of the polished samples - 5mm.
Infrared light scattering does not exceed 1.5%.
Advantages over analogues:
Feature crystals: new impurity composition (crystals contain no antimony as the dopant, which is normally used), which leads to an improvement of a number of parameters infrared optics elements made from such crystals.
