CONTROLLED MATRIX SYNTHESIS AND FUNCTIONALIZATION OF ORDERED MESOPOROUS CARBON MATERIALS
Purpose of the development:
Develop a methodology aimed matrix synthesis of materials based on the ordered mesoporous carbon.
Recommended application field:
Ordered mesoporous carbon materials are potential for application in the areas of science and technology:
- adsorption of large molecules,
- supports for catalysts,
- nanocontainers for hydrogen storage,
- the creation of electronic nano-devices.
Advantages over analogues:
The developed technique allows to obtain a new generation of intended carbon materials, which are:
- a high specific surface;
- a homogeneous distribution of the micro- and mesopore size;
- high thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance.
The development stage readiness:
tested in laboratory condition
Description of the development:
() The proposed method of matrix carbonization of carbon precursors with mesoporous silica templates to get sent and functionalize ordered mesoporous carbon materials with the necessary structural and sorption characteristics and morphology.
